I received The Herbal Concepts Comfort Neck and Shoulder Wrap as a gift. The gift giver knew that I have daily stiffness and pain in my neck and shoulder due to arthritis in my neck. So this gift was not only thoughtful but appropriate.The wrap is filled with a variety of herbs and seeds some of which are lavender, spearmint, valerian, flax seed and numerous others. The wrap can be used either as a hot wrap or a cold wrap. For warmth, it is placed in the microwave for about 2 minutes. I usually put it in for 2.5 minutes. Of course several factors will come to play as for how long you will leave it in your microwave... power of your microwave, how much heat you desire in the wrap, etc. For me, 2 1/2 minutes does it. If you want a cold wrap, then just place it in the freezer for a while and you'll have cold.What I enjoy about the Herbal Concepts wrap is how it also extends up the back and side of my neck a few inches. It really does...

This thing really is amazing! I was in a car accident a few years ago, and despite chiropractic treatments, massage and physical therapy I still have pain and tension in my neck and shoulders. My grandmother had this herbal concepts neck and shoulder wrap in olive. She told me how great it was and how good it smelled. I looked into purchasing one but I thought it couldn't be worth $20 ! So the next time I saw her she let me borrow it, and to make this story end, I (nor my husband!) wanted to give it back. Reluctantly, I did... but then I jumped right on Amazon and bought it! It smells wonderful, has a great moist heat, contours and covers your neck and shoulders and it really does makes you feel better. Just to add, the olive color is beautiful!

This is great for putting on tense shoulders to relax them. You can sit and relax or walk around. The heat feels marvelous and the little bit of added weight reminds me to untense my shoulders. I love this!
