The original graphics, though technically dated, retain a gritty medieval style that, in much the same way an impressionist painting does, evokes the creative mind to fill in the details with something more rich than realism alone could provide. The storyline is portrayed though a variety of mediums such as cut-scenes and mission briefings, the most immersive of which is are the in-game writings the player stumbles upon - journals, ledgers, posted notices, love notes, etc. Make no mistake, this is no run-and-gun or hack-and-slash action pack. Rather, this is a thinking-person's deliberate full experience to be savored and not rushed, like an exquisite meal or a thought provoking book or conversation.
