I bought this on Amazon Market Place. At first I could not get it to charge, but I discovered that it was my electrical outlet and not the device. The device itself works well. The photos and video are good. The device does a good job of transitioning from light to dark and vice versa. It is not going to handle very dark situations but I did not expect it to. Battery life appears good. It is important to press and hold the video button until the red light appears. It takes just about a second to start. The included memory is fine and adequate for security work. I do not run the device continually. The audio is soft and I have had to play it at full volume. Even at that it's soft. But I can understand what I and others are saying even with machinery running in the background. I had a problem getting the video to play when I plugged it into a Windows computer at work, but I had absolutely no problem when I plugged it into my home computer running Linux Mint 17.
