Got this off of the actual Otterbox website. Figured I would review it here. I first got the Defender series from Amazon before returning it and getting the this Symmetry case. DO NOT GET THE DEFENDER. It is absolute junk. The buttons are impossible to press, the screen protector is made of ziplock bag thickness, it is giant and the ports are hard to open. That and the screen poked through almost immediately for me. On the other hand, the Symmetry case may not have the same protection as the defender but is pretty solid and I am sure from normal use it would protect it. A 6ft drop from your ear should be fine. The defender can do 100ft. I am not THAT tall. This case also conforms perfectly around the iPhone 6 and even covers those curved glass edges that a lot of cases fail to cover. It also has a raised lip to further the glass protection. I honestly think this is the best case I have seen for the iPhone and it feels great in the hand.
