These binoculars have really impressed me. I have no real hardcore experience with binoculars in general, but these are very impressive to me. The weight is not feather light, which pleases me. Maybe for all day bird watching it would get heavy, I don't know. But for camping/boating/target shooting... these are very nice. I love the rubber coating and fog free features. The only negative is the lens caps are not tight fitting !! But since I don't have them in and out of the case, it's not a huge issue for me. But I can see where it would be for some activities.
