We put this up in the community area outdoors and a group of 10 - 15 of us have been using it twice a week for months now, not to mention all the neighborhood kids that practice. It has shown no sign of wear yet.

I had an old Huffy in ground system that i bought from Sportsmart about 15 years ago.I came with a 4x4 squate pole and also came with the exact lift system as the Spalding U turn 316.I learned 2 things. 1st that the spalding Uturn 316 sytem is perfect for this rim and backboard and 2 , that my old system was compatiblewith this frame and backbord. Overall the backboard and rim are of great quality for 300 bucks. I was a little skeptical, but once we opened it and mounted itit has the feel of a solid indoor gym backboard. Didnt see a review previously, so hopes this takes ther edge off if your considering buying this combo......extremely satisfied.

I bought this backboard and rim for my husband and we mounted it on the garage roof overhanging our driveway using the U-Turn Mount that Amazon says most people buy with it. He uses it several times a week and always tells me what a great backboard it is. It has a very good bounce off of it, just like you would get if you were playing in a gymnasium. He absolutely loves it!
