This is the 4th window mount I've bought from this manufacturer. I have 3 in different vehicles so I can transfer my GPS between them effortlessly. They'd also hold mobile phone or a tire pressure monitor really well. I have one with a flexible but stiff long arm, two like this with a medium length flexible but stiff arm and one with a rigid short arm. The long arm is great if you have a very deep dash in an RV or VW New Beetle. This one is great for a standard dash. I don't like the short rigid type as its rigid arm doesn't allow you to bend it so that your device is hard up against the dash. With the device hard up against the dash you don't get your device shaking. I also like the way there's a lever attached to the suction mount to ensure adhesion - just make sure the glass is clean and it'll hold really well.
