Scheuchzeria palustris ( Rannoch-rush, or pod grass), is a flowering plant in the family Scheuchzeriaceae, in which there is only one species and Scheuchzeria is the only genus. It has a creeping rhizome clothed in papery, straw coloured remains of old leaf bases.
