Nashaq (: romanized: ; modern day Kharbat Al-Bayda', ) is the name of an ancient city in the northern al-Jawf region of present-day , in the territory of the ancient .


History
Karib'il Watar (around 685 BC) launched a campaign to capture and Nashaq which lasted for three years. Eventually, he managed to subdue both cities, and to dedicate his triumph to his god .

In 25 BC, Nashaq was mentioned as " Nescus" during 's expedition to under orders of against Saba'. However, the expedition ended in critical failure and the Romans accused a guide called "Syllaeus" of misleading them. This expedition was mentioned by geographer in which he named as the ruler of at that time.
