Steve Robinson has done an excellent work in writing this book. I found it very interesting to read as a system administrator whose application portfolio includes WebSphere application server. This book is full of practical examples and very well and clearly explained. This is a very good book for WAS beginners. It is much smaller than the official WAS RedBook, but it will guide you through the most important administrative concepts of WAS8.
