I like the recipes in this book, but the recipe writing is poor. I can follow these recipes, but my poor husband-- a less accomplished cook-- has to ask what to do because the recipes don't give enough detail. an example, in the frittata recipe there are no directions for how to prepare the vegetables, all the recipe says is to add them to the eggs. Even though the book is for kid cooks, it is not for the beginning cook.
