I used two of these video splitters in two different churches. Each is drived by a laptop. Each drives two LCD monitors and one HD large screen TV (58" and 62" Samsung). Both splitters worked out of the box without any problem.
This splitter was purchased for use in a church setting. Video input from a computer, output to two projectors, each on a 100 foot VGA cable. Even over that distance, the image is only slightly dimmed and still very readable. This box has solved a BUNCH of problems we've had with the projection system. Would recommend. (One note: Make sure you have the correct input gender. I needed a converter.)
I bought this product to split my vga signal from my Video camera DVR to a monitor and my LED tv. I tried it first with a regular splitter and noticed the quality was not as good so I read the reviews about this and thought it would do the trick. Well it did not give me a good quality at all and did not seem like it was boosting any kind of signal. It did work as a splitter though just did not do any kind of signal boosting. :(
