This adds a nice bass to my music. I'm actually running it at a very low setting (and I love bass) but I like having the option to turn it up when I want to. I'm using 8ga. wiring for my power/ground and a signal wire for remote turn-on. It also fits well in the trunk where the included stick-on Velcro helps keep it stationary.I'm sure you can get a bit more bass for the same money but for those who just want "something" without having to build yoru own - this will do.
This is a great little sub and for the money. It does just what I needed it to do, which is add bass to a factory system with very little bass. The enclosure is well built and the whole unit is pretty sturdy. I had mine professionally installed so it looks very good and I have had no problems at all with this unit. The twelve inch version would have been overwhelming for my car so I am happy I went with the ten inch version, which I have adjusted the gain to about 5dbi or little less, in a range of 0 to 10 ..
