I bought this backpack in 2009 and it was great and lasted 5-6 years. When I was ready to buy a new one, I noticed that some Amazon reviewers had said that the quality of this backpack had gone down, but I hoped for the best and bought it anyway, given that I had such a good experience in the past. On the picture you see a solid and strong almost a case-like product, but in reality it feels like pieces of cheap cloth attached to each other in clumsy manner. Also on the pictures here you see a bottle holder on the side, which I couldn't find in my delivery. I like everything about this bag except the strap. I didn't pay close attention to it when I ordered it because I've owned cheaper bags with better straps. The strap on this bag is fixed (it doesn't swivel) so the strap can easily get twisted. The strap buckle is plastic, as well. I would be much more satisfied with the bag if it had a metal buckle/clip system that had a swivel contraption, like most bags do. I think this is because this is labeled a me..
