I bought a Mac Mini with a 120GB hard drive in April 2009 so I've been hunting around for a good back-up drive to store my media and to work with Apple's Time Machine. After a few hours of researching external drives, I realized that, unlike other products, there were no clear winners. I purchased my 1TB GreenDrive in July or 2009. It has been mostly full with daily shuffling of data since then. It was on, nonstop, for the first 10 months. Then the drive was turned off for 4 months. And now it has been on, nonstop again, for the past ~4 months. I have not had any problems with the drive at all.
