This is a well built & fascinating item. I predict it will become a conversation starter when people notice it, especially since it's portable. But the one picture is wrong here. It gives off BLUE arcs, not rainbow. Yes, there are 3 positions on the switch. OFF, ON, and SOUND ACTIVATED.
I bought one of these to compare it with the green version, with a view to using both in some steampunk props I'm making.I was impressed by the green one, but if anything the blue one is much brighter.I've only had the devices for a short time, and if they fail prematurely I'll come back and say so, but as of now my socks have been blown off.
