The self sticking adhesive comes loose after only a couple of minutes. It doesn't work very well for my auto harp. it picks up every little noise while handling the auto harp but, it's works pretty well for the guitar, and it works well on my home made canjo and I think it would work well on a didley bow. for the price it's s good deal.

We have 2 of these, one for each dulcimer. Surprisingly they work very well. Ours are mounted near the soundhole, but not touching the bridge. If you tough the bridge, it will pick every little finger contact. We clamped ours in place for a day of so with clothespins to get a good connection...the key to best pickup of sound is best contact with the instrument. You can use the velcro that comes with the pickup to hold the jack in place, but then the wire hangs loose. We used some goop to glue the wire to th..
