For the money, I wasn't expecting such a large toy. This turtle is roughly eight inches long from nose to tail and doesn't fit the scale of the rest of my Schleich, Safari, and PAPO figurines. That's not really a negative but whoever did the hand-painting did such a sloppy job I may be forced to return it. There are several smudges of white paint on the dark brown of the shell, and one of the lines separating the dark plates of the shell itself is so far off I think the painter must have sneezed or somet..
