This was one of my favorite albums growing up. Of course, I was a big Paul McCartney fan at that time, not so much the Beatles. Back then I wasn't really aware of sonic quality including dynamic range, compression, etc. Then a friend of mine pointed out at the end of "Rock Show" the engineer or Paul or I don't know who turned up the compression really high.
