Have this nearly new pole pruner but blade was shot. Could not find a replacement blade retail. Hate throwing away a good useful item when all it needs is a blade. the pole had no information that fiskar had made it. It was a generic hardware chain brand. But the design prove to match the fiskar. So I took a chance and found and ordered the blade I found on Amazon. Great price and received it without a hitch. Now I have a like new pole pruner again. The only small negative is the blade seems not as stiff as..
I have an older (15 years) Tom Thumb brand pruner that was made for True Value Hardware. True Value now sells a different puner under this brand name...not as good in my opinion. They no longer carry a replacement blade for the older Tomb Thumb pruner. After looking at several manufacturers of saw blades I came across the Fiskars. It is an identical replacement for the old Tom Thumb...even has the same patent number. I ordered and am pleased with the product. No need to throw the old one away now.
