Being such a fan of the first movie with its comic timing, excellent direction that Michael always brings (Though Pearl Harbor was crap) and a great score (yet is sounds suspiciously like Speed's Hmmmmmm) anyway...i was surprised to find that I loved the second one even more...and the freeway chase scene rivals The Matrix Reloaded (Yes I said it!!) I think everything was better because Will Smith had more time to work on his comic/action skills between these films, and Michael definetly knows how to play to..
