If you are looking for soup with a lot of flavor, Amy's is not for you, BUT IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR HEALTHY GOOD TASTING SOUP, I recommend Amy's. I have been purchasing this brand for a few years. Sometimes its hit and miss, it just depends on your taste buds. Put it this way, you can always add to it, but when soups put too much sodium and junk in it... you CAN'T take it out. I recommend trying this brand, if its too bland, then toss in some coriander or vegeta..
I did not personally eat this soup, as I purchased it for my husband, but he said it was just as good/tasty as regular chicken noodle from Campbell's. I think instead of chicken there's tofu bits in it. I think the coloring may come from turmeric, which is not listed in the ingredients. It just says "spices". If it is turmeric, that's a good thing since its a natural anti-inflammatory and immune supporter. That's what you want if you have icky sinus crud go..
Some people hesitate at the hint that something is spicy. Don't be. This is a delicious soup, perfect for a winter evening, and actually quite mild. The spices lend complexity, not heat. You'll notice them most in a pleasant, lingering fragrance after each spoonful. I've ordered more.I wish Amy's would offer a variety case! Everything so far has been great.UPDATE: I have ordered this many times. It was always a fairly thick soup -- a meal, really. Today's was much ..
