Ive had this combo for over a year now and i love it, i replaced the stock string with 40lb test braided spider line an ive NEVER snapped a line. Casts 65 yards with ease. I catch a lot of catfish where i fish (not by choice ofcourse) it reels the the 10-15 pounders in with out any problem. Dont really use the fish alert unless im using more than one pole but thats what its for right?
