Consider, this is a middle to low-end scope both in cost and performance. It performs very well, does exactly what it is supposed to do. Keeping this in mind, don't expect a $4000.00 Zeiss or a Swarovski - this is why I don't give it 5 stars.That said, I have no problems with this scope. It could be brighter, clearer etc.But for the money, its worth every penny.It has an excellent AO objective lens.Operation is smooth.It comes with a lens shade - this is important ..
