Seems to be a quality product. I replaced 2, one in my master bath and one in the guest bath. The master bath one trips occasionally when the bathroom vent fan is turned off. Not sure if this is a problem with the GFCI or my house wiring but at least I know it works.The directions were printed with very small print.Comes with "GFCI protected" labels for "slave" outlets.
It does the job and it's slick looking. The LED gives a nice touch. The only complaint I have is that these are a pain to install: The contact screws will not stay "popped off" once you unscrew them (they're screwed to a plate that moves freely inside the whole assembly). As a result, it becomes a total pain to "hook" the wire around the screw. Tip: During installation, block the inner plate by inserting a piece of wire into the push-in terminals. Just make sure you use something thin enough to make it easy..
I bought 3 of them and they work great. The quality is pretty good and I like the fact that you have the option to put the straight wire directly into the back of the receptacle. the instruction paper is one of the best instructional papers I have ever read in my life. I am actually keeping one of them so If I need to connect more outlets, I will have this to look forward to. Amazing details, really.
