I never intended to watch this movie in the first place. It came out in a time were the generation of horror films that were being released weren't that great, but my friend let me borrow Dog Soldiers (great flick), and said whoever did this did descent and so I gave it a chance and was well rewarded. i LOVE this movie.it's nice to see a movie without men, and relatively free of discussion about them, and the cast of the descent really sells the flick. the women are all very believable as outdoor adventurers, and all of them are portrayed with profound competence. shauna macdonald as sarah is amazing, and she wears the tragedy of the film's opening behind her eyes in every scene. juno is pretty bada$$, and her raging chaotic neutrality makes her the catalyst of ..
