Gustav Klimt was an Austrian symbolic painter and one of the most prominent members of the Vienna Secession movement. Klimt is noted for his paintings, murals, sketches, and other art objects. Gallery Wrapped is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured to the back of the wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting.
