4WD differentials work hard and need extra protection. Differential covers from aFe Power hold 5 quarts of lube (compared to 4 quarts for OEM), with a magnetic drain plug and a magnetic-tipped fill plug. Internal and external fins are built-in, for maximum cooling by dissipating heat from fluid to the outside air. The fill plug is designed to prevent overfilling, and an oil level sight glass is built-in for easy checking of fluid level.
