I have never attempted to use this for "weight loss" but I'm sure it would work because this tea is a Laxative. It will clear out any gunk you have sitting in your system, as well as send anything you eat straight through. To the 1 person who said it didn't work, you probably didn't steep it long enough. My mom said the same thing, but I made it for her and steeped for 10-15 minutes (the way I normally do mine), and now she is a believer also. My favorite flavor is the Orange-Spice, but they all work very well, without a terrible after taste or bad side effects. Much more effective and better tasting than Smooth Move.

I have been constipated chronically for about three or four months, as well as a loss of appetite. I tried simple things like Milk of Magnesia and Polyethylene Glycol, the typical osmotic laxatives that most doctors recommend, but it only helped me somewhat, and actually caused more gas and discomfort and made me feel as though moisture was building up in my colon and not being expelled soon enough.So then I tried herbal laxative capsules which did work, and didn't cause the moisture build up, but they were only mildly effective at the recommended dose, and I don't feel comfortable going over the recommended dosage for long.Then I found this product. The first time I drank it, it tasted good for what it was, and I actually went above the dosage (steeping two bags at once) because I thought that it would be weak like the capsules. (not the case) About six hours later I began feeling slight discomfort, and went to the restroom, and needless to say I believe my bowels emptied...

I highly recommend this product. Have lost 30 pounds in six months just by using this tea. Very simple to use and no nasty side effects for me. Have tried others and nothing comes close to this product. I have used the Green Tea and the Orange-Spice and loved both. Have recommended this to all my family and friends.
