I bought this to run as a virtual machine on my Mac. It installs without any issues (based on a scale for Microsoft products) and runs as I would expect Windows 8.1 to run - like crap. Windows 8 is horrible - the user interface is a lame fusion of touch screen and non-touch screen, without any obvious or intuitive (par for Microsoft) way to get it to stick in one mode or the other. To be fair, I am NOT "Mac Puke" as I call those people who "drive a Macintosh" or whose "other car is a Macintosh", but I prefer Macs over Windows because the Mac is based on Linux, which is a version of Unix - I AM MOST CERTAINLY a "Unix Puke", being a SWE. Windows is for consumers and bad programmers (although I suppose to make anything work under Windows, you have to be pretty good).
