 | Author: Michael in NY - See all.. | Seems very well made, even the top shelf is metal.Just a heads up: the shelf is not 19 inches wide as it says here, it is 18.5 inch wide which it says on the box. But, that is the external measurement. The internal width is about 17.5 inches as each leg is roughly a half inch wide. Likewise, the 5.25 height is external, the vertical clearance under the shelf is 4 5/8 inches, again, due to the width of the frame. | 7 |
 | Author: flin0518 - See all my r.. | I just received and set up this shelf on my workstation and it is perfect for my needs. I wanted something that would look sleek, yet unobtrusive, and give me enough room to store my docking station underneath - mission accomplished. There is plenty of room underneath and now I have added space on my desk for my keyboard and other office necessities without cluttering up the desk. The shelf is really sturdy and could easily support a heavier monitor monitor than my 22" LCD. I highly recommend this product - just be sure to make sure the measurements are in line with your needs as the picture makes this look a lot smaller than it is. | 5 |
 | Author: Louis (Fresno, CA United.. | This stand performs nicely. I have it supporting a 30" monitor and it holds it steady with little to no bouncing that you sometimes experience with other stands, as it stresses under the weight of the monitor. My only gripe about this stand is that it came with a few chips in the paint finish. The chips aren't big, but enough to wonder whether this thing was brand new. This doesn't appear to be the fault of Amazon, but rather, poor attention to detail by Allsop. I didn't return it because it is one of the few stands that support a 30" monitor well, as I mentioned above. Next time, though, I may pass on Allsop products if there are other options. | 6 |
