The material for this tray is a bit sub-par compared to the dozens of other silicone molds I own. The tray came packaged in a nice undamaged box, as pictured for the listing, but the tray was slightly warped around the edges. It also does not pass the stress test--the blue coloring turned white when I pushed on the mold shapes like you need to do to get the ice to pop out. The cavities to make the shapes are also fairly deep, which means you will really need to push a lot to get the finished pieces out. I suspect this will stress the tray quickly and it will break or lose shape after a few uses. It most likely will not withstand dishwashing either. I planned on using this to make chocolates, but it might not be able to handle the heat even though it claims to be able to.
To sum up: inferior silicone will warp with repeated use and high heat, so handwash and use only for forming cold things, like ice or butter pats.
