I watched a couple of episodes when I was a kid, but honestly don't even remember the stories. I recognized the characters and knew the general set up. Now I am watching this with my daughter and we are enjoying it together. We have had some really good conversations surrounding the experiences brought up. It is a really nice and kind of refreshing family-friendly show which is why I love it. It is nice to have something to watch together where various parenting and childhood experiences are highlighted...and it is not "in your face" which gives you the opportunity to make more or nothing of what comes up and the same goes for the kiddos.

Despite all the controversy regarding Stephen Collins, the program itself, is an excellent family program. Advisedly, it is best to talk with young family members regarding the situation and separate fact from fiction before viewing. With that said, I can't think of many better family-value shows to view.
