Let me start by saying McFarlane and many other companies these day tend to use a photo of a different version of what they are selling. This is never really a good thing case in point on this lemon of a lineup. I love The Walking Dead and happy i got them to keep sealed cause i am a Walking Dead nut. These companies get away with showing off a product which is a pre retail mold and paint job. What you get is totally different paint variation not much close to the photos they use to sell there item. The best part of these figures are the faces. They do not pose well at all if you open them and try you will be pissed you opened it and rather kept it sealed for a collectable. If you get a good pose in the package the ones i see all look odd except for a set i hand picked. The hands look like they will break very easy and the thumbs are so small and skinny i know those will break first. What a great figure. Excellently sculpted, very detailed in the painting, and a lot of excellent accessories. I don't understand the complaints that others are giving. For a $15 5" figure, you couldn't ask for much more than this! This is a great addition to any toy collection and is very fun for those who are fans of the show. Display him with Rick and the zombies for full effect =o) This shouldn't be a place to compare prototype images with the end product, this should be a review of the end product. Do the prototypes look better? Do McDonalds hamburgers look better in pictures and commercials than they do when you order them? C'mon. Let's be fair. This is a great figure worthy of 4 stars. Don't hesitate. Get him while you can. You can still find him in stores right now (early January 2012) for $15 or so. Amazon prices are high because he is going to become rare fast. There are only two Daryl's per case of figures and he is a favorite amongst fans of the show. I'm probably going to...

I love the show and was excited about ordering this but was VERY Disappointed. It looks like Daryl Dixon on line but when you get it in person, it doesn't. Very cheaply made. Save your money!
