 | Author: Jack C (Los Angeles, CA) | I have a quarter can left of the original Rishi organic jasmine pearls in the vacuum sealed bag, with two lids that seal the canister. I've consumed the tea slowly over the course of four months, and every time I open the canister, there is a literal burst of jasmine fragrance that rises to my nostrils. It is strong, and beautiful, and is equivalent to sniffing an actual jasmine flower.Upon realizing that Rishi discontinued the older packaging, I took a risk and ordered the new version. I was immediately disappointed when I opened the loosely packed bag. The fragrance is about 1/5 it's former strength, and its scent notes have changed to a light, jelly bean like flavor. Because it was not vacuum sealed, the pearls release little floating speckles of tea leaves that permeate the cup and never settles to the bottom.I asked for a refund, and I pray that Rishi's executives learn from this debacle. It is never a good idea to mess with a winning formula. | 9 |
