The package and most videos you'll find on youtube will tell you to microwave everything for 30 seconds, but that's according to Japanese microwaves which generally run from 500-660 watts, while American microwaves run from 900-1200 watts. If you have a fairly new microwave, 30 seconds will almost definitely burn it. Start with 15, and if it's still tacky, continue with 5 second intervals until it's got the texture of bouncy bread.
I think this set tasted great, personally. The meat tasted like lightly spiced meat, the bread tasted a little sweet, but good, and the fries tasted like lightly salted potatoes. Ketchup was a little odd, like a mix of sweeter ketchup and soy sauce, but it went well with the fries. The coke had a slightly cherry tang to it but I don't normally drink coke so maybe that's what it's supposed to taste like. The cheese made the whole burger taste a little off. I'd recommend tasting it on its own to see if you like it before putting it on the burger...Read more
