UE Boom 2 -Yeti Edition (Electronics)

Let's get down to it. The UE Boom 2 has a lot going for it. It's a loud compact speaker that withstands a lot of punishment. Connecting to it and controls are fairly simple. My only gripe with this speaker is the battery life for my purposes. I work at a car factory and use this speaker to listen to my music which is mostly Country,Rap,Rock and EDM. For what this speaker is its amazing as stated earlier and I have dropped this speaker multiple times on concrete and while outdoors. It's battery life on full blast will last roughly 2 hours. On medium with lots of bass you can expect 4-6 and with low volume you will see the 10 hours or so of battery life. I don't think many people will need to have this maxed out but some of us do. I compensated this by hooking up my speaker with a Jackery external battery bank.TLDR:ProsWithstands brutal punishmentLoudDoesn't "crackle" on high volumeCons.Battery life is on the weak side.

Except for the most finicky audio-phile, this speaker is great. I didn't want a cheapy one and the idea of spending $200-$400 on a better one was just not an option. I wanted great sound for a great price and this is it! I use it indoors and it fills our living room area in our 1,200 sq ft condo. It is also amazing outside. My son wanted to ride bike with some tune and we zip tied it to my bike. It was loud enough that people we passed were stopping and dancing to our music. When I say loud I don't mean uncomfortably loud or obnoxious, I mean really great sound and it was pretty loud. The battery has a good life depending on the volume. Even with it at full blast it lasts for 4 hours.

great value, solid speaker. bass was a little lacking, but downloading the ue boom app, you can tweak the equalizer which made a huge difference. the sound is clear. the SQ is better on this than other similar products i've heard by bose and jbl. I felt the JBL flip actually had better bass, even after I EQ'd this one, which is contrary to many reviews I've read. The simplicity of use is great, though, and I sitll highly recommend this. Would buy again.Pro tips: download the app to control item settings, such as EQ. you can also buy another and have a wireless stereo pair using the app.
