Frontier Soups Hearty Meals Illinois Prairie Corn Chowder Mix, 7 Ounce (Grocery)

   I found this product, Frontier Soups, online when I purchased them originally from Thrive Market. This market sells products that one would not normally find locally. It sells products that are healthy and not filled with chemicals. When I tried out some of their products, this one company's soups were really really delicious. And now I can get them from Amazon without paying a fee to join Thrive Market. These soups contain no chemicals and have only ingredients that you would normally use if you were starting from scratch. But you don't have to start from scratch. Sometimes you do have to add one or two ingredients, but honestly it is not that hard! And there are suggestions to make the soups more interesting. They make lots of flavors and I will be ordering them all winter. I am not crazy about cooking so I love these!

I've tried several of the Frontier soups and this one is my favorite, I always make sure to have a package of it on hand. I have several friends whom specifically ask me to make this soup for them. It tastes fresh, has great flavor, with no artificial ingredients.I like to grill up corn on the cob in season and grade the kernels for a tasty add in the winter months.I also give gift baskets containing Frontier soups for Christmas. I highly recommend this product and other soups from Frontier.

This was easy and delicious. I made some modifications but it was good, as is. I added an extra 16oz of chicken stock and would have added more but didn't want the flavor to be watered down. I also added 1.5 lbs of cooked chicken instead of 1 lb.,cooked egg noodles, cooked carrots & celery, and salt and pepper to tasteI ate it like soup and gave half to my parents with biscuits. They reheated it in the oven with biscuits on top,as suggested on the package but definitely needed to cook the biscuits at least halfway first, as the underside sitting on the soup, did not get as cooked as they wanted them to be. But it was delicious both ways. It's like a. Chicken soup combined with a split pea soup because it has that yummy flavor in the broth of split pea. Really good and really easy.
