As I Lay Dying is my favorite band. They have been ever since i first bought Frail Words Collapse, and probably will be for a long time to come, so when i heard that they were releasing a new album a paltry 1 year after The Powerless Rise, i got super excited. At the same time I was worried that it might not have the power or originality of their other albums due to the quick production time.Here's where my review title comes in. READ THE DESCRIPTION OF THE CD BEFORE YOU BUY IT! Otherwise you will be disappointed. This is not a CD full of new music, it is a celebration of the 10 year anniversary of As I Lay Dying.There are 3 new songs, 4 covers of music that influenced the band, 1 rerecorded medley of Beneath the Encasing of Ashes songs, and 5 remixes of previous As I Lay Dying songs.When i say remixes, i mean Dubstep/Techno remixes.
