My husband literally snores like a freight train and I've tried every brand of earplugs that exists. These green Moldex ones are the best. While they don't eliminate the sound of my husband's snoring completely, they do a good job of turning it into white noise. The most important thing about these earplugs is that they're soft and won't hurt your ears when they've expanded.

Its a personal preference thing, but don't fear they are too hard or large as I've used far more firm plugs that hurt or larger.
