I like to wear performance neutral shoes for running, light-weight with a low drop of 4mm. However, the issue with these types of running shoes that they are designed for the "neutral" runner and offer very little support for those of us with lower arches and a tendency to overpronate. The stability or guidance control shoes are just too bulky for my preference.

I put them in my shoes and went to the gym for my usual 2 mile walk on the treadmill. Just for the heck of it I turned up the speed for a casual jog. Amazingly, I felt nothing but my muscles working. No shin splints, no jarring knee pain and no pain in my arches. Upon increasing the speed, it was more of the same...no pain!! Before I knew it, I had run a little over half a mile! I know it's not much but for someone who hasn't run much longer than 10 seconds in 4 years, it was a wonderful accomplishment. These insoles are totally worth it. It's amazing how much better I feel now that I can run without focusing on...Read more
