I really want to love these moccasins. They are dang cute! But, unfortunately, I cannot overlook the poor quality of construction. The left shoe seems to be fine, but the right shoe is drastically different. First of all, the right shoe is markedly larger than the left, as you can see in one of the photos I have attached. Second, the elastic doesn't show at all on the left shoe, but it is pretty visible on the right. And third, the fringe at the very back of the right shoe is not cut all the way through. Overall, I feel that the shoes are a bit big. They don't stay on my baby's feet very well. If the elastic was tighter, they might stay on better. I would recommend buying Bow Leather Baby Moccasins for Boy Girl Infant Toddler Pre-walker Crib Shoe (M(5.3inches), Black) instead of these. Seriously the cutest, most comfortable shoes EVER! My daughter is 14 months, a new walker & these provide enough protection for her to walk outdoors. They have a thick leather sole. We get so many compliments. Everyone wants to know where we got them.The bow does slip out- but could be easily secured with a needle & thread. I have taken the leather bow out & replaced it with different fabric to coordinate with her outfits. So, I like that it slips out.The top opening is elastic- so they stay on her feet. Most other shoes slip right off. Not these! They stay put!I find that they are true to size.I love them so much that I have purchased them in different colors.If you are on the fence- don't be! They are truly fabulous!
