This is a great set of cookware. It's a bit heavy, but I have to tell you, it will probably last a lifetime. My first set is approximately 25 years old, and still looks really great. It's made from surgical steel, and it's very well made. I can't imagine not having a set of them. They wash up well...I prefer to hand wash mine, but they definitely can go into the dishwasher. The bottoms heat evenly.
