I have been obsessed/terrified with great white sharks since reading Jaws back in 1974, then the movie was released in 1975 and I was 14 years old. This series about the Megalodons has stirred the same awe and fascination. I just can't get enough of this series!! I find impulse racing and my anxiety at the roof while reading these books, the Author draws you into these characters lives and your either yelling at them for their stupidity or clutching your kindle so hard while they're fighting for their lives! I am getting ready to purchase the next book in this series and can't wait to read about the chaos the "Sisters" bring😉 Do yourself a favor, if Jaws was to your liking then the Meg series is gonna blow your mind🙌

For shallow entertainment, it's a good book. If you want a book to read on a long train ride, this will absorb you for a few hours. There's still a lot of chunks of "Let me educate you ALL about prehistoric shark stuff!!!" that can be annoying as it has nothing to do with the plot. And as per all the other books the author has written, there's always a detailed description of the "ampules of loerenziiii"(sp) in just about every chapter it seems. If you can sort through the attempts at a science class, the story is pretty good.
