Attractive packaging and bottle with pleasant scent, June 9, 2011

Received the Jane Austen reeds as a gift and was surpised when I came to Amazon to order to see that it didn't have a strong review. I agree with the previous reviewer that the bottle is quite handsome and the box is sturdy and great for lots of purposes. I also found the scent quite pleasant - not at all disappointing!

(This review is for the Henry David Thoreau "Cedar, Moss, and Juniper" Fragrance Diffuser Set.) The scent of this is not bad, but it doesn't match the description very well, in my opinion. I love woodsy scents like cedar, moss, and juniper -- but this doesn't smell woodsy at all to me -- sortof a green sweet smell. It left me a little disappointed. The box, however, is quite nice -- a sturdy, hinged box with a cleat-style wrapping cord. The bottle is a handsome frosted dark brown glass. So great appearance, disappointing but not unpleasant scent.
