TP-Link N300 Wireless Wi-Fi Fast Ethernet Router (TL-WR841HP) (Personal Computers)

Excellent unit - Wanted something with the same long range that can will speedtest as well as a previously owned ASUS RT-AC68U, to use with my 300n laptop. This was the only (of several) routers in this price range that could do it at outer ranges. Wirelessly one floor up, two walls and say 40' over this achieves (usually) about 29/5.5 using multiple Speedtest.net tests on a wired 30/6 FIOS modem (provides RJ45) from outside. I'm using it with 6x (1080p) ip cameras. Other routers tended to have momentary drop outs, including the 68U Asus (but not until 4 months later). SO FAR, this has not been the case (almost 1 month now) with ip cams always transmitting as usual. Steady output SO FAR and fast downloads at range, so far. I do reboot my laptop once in a while to make sure the laptop isn't a issue here. I've had a pretty standard WRT54G for a long time, running normal firmware, Tomato, DD-WRT, etc., and I finally got fed up that despite having 40 MBps through the door, I was only getting ~15 MBPs on my wireless devices.As I mentioned above, I'm very familiar with custom firmware and involved setups (Port Triggering, Forwarding, MAC Filtering, etc) and so I expected to jump right to the Admin Console. I gave their silly little mini-CD a shot and it was set up in (literally) 30 seconds. Sure, I could've done it, but I was impressed that a setup CD actually worked once. I went into Admin Console anyway to make sure things were setup correctly, and added some Trigerring for Xbox Live, but it was a breeze.My last speed tests with the WRT (down speeds only):13.5712.8113.0111.6713.7713.71After plugging this thing in:34.6634.7028.1527.65More than doubled.
