I purchased this item two short years ago. Back then it was $80. It had only been about a year since they put out latest firmware upgrade. I thought all was well.Turns out, it was the last firmware they ever planned to put out. When I received a new modem this week, I noticed my internet wouldn't behave properly when hooked to the router. Cisco-Linksys wanted money for providing support. (A fact they mentioned after they took down my contact details... Can't wait to see how that pans out.) When I declined, they attempted to sell me a new router to replace my "legacy" device. No thanks.Essentially, they wanted more money for a device they KNEW was "end of life".
