Lord Premium Safety Razor Model LP1822L aka L6 by LORD RAZORS (Health and Beauty)

Well, this razor was really a surprise. I only bought it because on one of the forums in a thread about "My Top 5 Razors" several folks listed it as one of their top 5. Then when I saw it was only $10 I had to order it. I left in on the shelf for over a month before I decided to shave with it and I was astonished! It shaves as good as my $165 Feather Stainless Steel AS-D2!!! I really could not believe it, but it delivered a very smooth shave and absolutely no irritation to my "irritation prone" neck area. If you are looking for a very mild razor at a bargain price, this is it!

   This is absolutely the best modern production (i.e. not vintage Gillette) double edge safety razor available for the price. I ordered it somewhat on a lark... I was going on a business trip and rather than hassle with the TSA questioning my DE gear, I ordered this razor and had it shipped ahead to my hotel using Prime.The head is a heavy cast base metal with acceptable finish quality, much better than I expected given the price. The handle is machined aluminum and somewhat lighter weight that I am accustomed to. Together, the head and handle make for an unassuming combination that probably wouldn't excite many shaving aficionados.When you load up a blade and start to shave is when this razor will immediately impress. The curve of the head allows you to instantly find the proper blade angle with minimal adjustment... it's a much more natural and instant occurrence than with vintage Gillette Techs and TTOs.
