I still consider iOS a toy operating system for many reasons including the inability to print to a wired network printer on the same network. I mean, how hard could that be? No app in the store works seamlessly to perform that simple function.

In less than 5 minutes I had this plugged in to a domain network, installed the Apple Bonjour Printer Wizard, and it found all network printers including two HP 4250dtn printers and an HP Color Laserjet 2025x. Guests that connect to my Wi-Fi can also print without any configuring. In your app just tap on print, pick the printer and its printing. It does seem a little slower than printing to an IP printer from a PC but not by much.

You can plug the ethernet cable into any network port and it provides iOS print services for any printer on that subnet automatically.
