Pregestimil DHA & ARA Infant Formula with MCT oil 1 lb (16oz) Can -Powder (Baby Product)

My 10 week old daughter drinks this in addition to breast milk. She has biliary atresia, a disease of the liver and biliary system. The pregestimil is hypoallergenic- it is broken down into smaller pieces to make it easier for her and babies like her to absorb and therefore gain weight and grow. It also contains MCT oil, a readily absorbed fat. My cousin, who had cystic fibrosis, also drank pregestimil to help her gain weight and grow.The smell and taste are honestly not the best in the world, but there's not much you can do about it. Sometimes we add our daughter's vitamins to the formula and that helps the taste for her.The bottom line is that this is a great formula if your baby needs it. Good luck.

We tried this formula because it is lactose free, my baby does not have any other issues, just lactose intolerant.We found that it smells bad, does not mix well into water and my baby would not drink a drop.
